We first had Solar Miner install our solar system back in 2018, before we even moved into our home, and I have to say it was incredible. The system has been running perfectly ever since and has given us years of reliable performance. Fast forward to 2025 and we decided to take advantage of the battery rebate and add a battery to the system. Once again, I cannot fault the installation itself. The crew that came out were fantastic, professional, and really knew their stuff. Everything was completed to a very high standard and we were very impressed with the final result.
For now, we have already seen a considerable improvement in our energy consumption and are no longer pulling from the grid, which has been an amazing change for our household.
Where I think Solar Miner could improve is in their approach to communication. While waiting for our funds to clear, despite already having paid a deposit, we were contacted no less than five times by different sales reps asking if we wanted solar or a battery installed. At one point it felt like we were being called every other day, even though the decision had already been made and we were simply waiting for the green light to proceed. On top of that, there have been repeated requests for this review.
To be clear, my five-star rating is for the installation team, because those guys really were excellent, both back in 2018 and again in 2025. The only suggestion I would give Solar Miner is to relax a little with the follow-ups. Your work and your service speak for themselves, and there’s no need to push so hard. Overall though, we are extremely happy customers and would happily recommend Solar Miner to anyone considering solar or battery storage.
