We first had Solar Miner install our solar system back in 2018, before we even moved into our home, and I have to say it was incredible. The system has been running perfectly ever since and has given us years of reliable performance. Fast forward to 2025 and we decided to take advantage of the battery rebate and add a battery to the system. Once again, I cannot fault the installation itself. The crew that came out were fantastic, professional, and really knew their stuff. Everything was completed to a very high standard and we were very impressed with the final result.

For now, we have already seen a considerable improvement in our energy consumption and are no longer pulling from the grid, which has been an amazing change for our household.

Where I think Solar Miner could improve is in their approach to communication. While waiting for our funds to clear, despite already having paid a deposit, we were contacted no less than five times by different sales reps asking if we wanted solar or a battery installed. At one point it felt like we were being called every other day, even though the decision had already been made and we were simply waiting for the green light to proceed. On top of that, there have been repeated requests for this review.

To be clear, my five-star rating is for the installation team, because those guys really were excellent, both back in 2018 and again in 2025. The only suggestion I would give Solar Miner is to relax a little with the follow-ups. Your work and your service speak for themselves, and there’s no need to push so hard. Overall though, we are extremely happy customers and would happily recommend Solar Miner to anyone considering solar or battery storage.

Contacted Solar minor because I was having issues with the solar panel at my property was showing a fault.
Spoke with Malcolm. He was able to assist me to rectify the fault on the inverter over the phone and also assisted me with solar inverter app which was not connected to the solar panel. I really appreciate his assistance. His knowledge and expertise regarding Solar equipment is impressive.

I recently needed assistance updating the control settings to enable my battery to charge from the grid during a specific 3-hour window when my energy provider offers free grid-to-home supply.
I referred to the documentation and attempted to update the settings in the Growatt Shine app but was unsuccessful.

Not only did he fix the problem, but he also followed up with multiple calls and reminders to ensure everything was working smoothly with the updated settings.

I got 40kwh Growatt through Solar Miner.

When installing the battery, electrician face real problem, battery pack need 3m wide to satisfy the rules. My wall on switch board side has no 3m room as solar panel and electric hot water service already took the place. The first electrician gave this project up.

Thanks for Victor Stark, the project coordinator of Solar Miner, assigned another wonderful and charming electrician Kik finish the job by crossing 30m long cables throng underneath the house. Everyone is satisfied.
